Course Bookings
Your place on a course is confirmed once payment has been received.
By purchasing a course, workshop or digital product from The Beauty Study Co, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Payment Plans
Where a course is purchased using a payment plan, the learner agrees to pay all instalments in accordance with the payment schedule shown at the time of booking.
Access to online learning may be provided following the first payment. Any remaining instalments will continue to be payable on the agreed dates.
All payments must be fully paid and up to date before the learner attends any in-person practical training or assessment included within the course.
If an instalment is overdue or a payment has failed, The Beauty Study Co may pause access to the course and/or postpone practical training or assessment until the outstanding payment has been received.
Certificates will not be issued until the full course fee has been paid and all course and assessment requirements have been successfully completed.
Choosing a payment plan does not reduce the total course fee or remove the learner's responsibility to complete the remaining agreed payments after accessing the online course or digital materials.
Where a practical training date needs to be rearranged because payments are outstanding, any new date will be subject to availability.
Digital Products and Online Learning
Digital products and online learning may include online courses, workshops, downloadable resources, editable templates and accompanying digital content.
Where digital content is supplied immediately, you may lose your statutory right to cancel once access or supply has begun where you have expressly agreed to receive the digital content during the cancellation period and acknowledged that your right to cancel will be lost.
Please ensure that the course, workshop or digital product is suitable for your needs before purchasing.
If you have any questions, we are happy to help before you enrol or purchase.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
Practical Training Dates
If your course includes a practical training session, you may rearrange your practical date by contacting us at least seven days before your scheduled training date, subject to availability.
Requests made with less than seven days' notice may not be accommodated.
Where a course has been purchased using a payment plan, all payments must also be fully paid and up to date before attending practical training or assessment.
Cancellations
If The Beauty Study Co needs to rearrange a course due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date will be offered as soon as possible.
Course Access
Online course access is provided for the period stated on the relevant course or product description.
Access is for the named learner or purchaser only and must not be shared with another person unless expressly stated otherwise.
Login details and access links must not be shared with another person.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, manuals, videos, downloads, templates and resources remain the intellectual property of The Beauty Study Co.
Materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, uploaded, shared, resold or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission, except where a product specifically gives the purchaser permission to customise and use the materials within their own business, as set out below.
The Beauty Trainer Toolkit – Licence and Use
When you purchase The Beauty Trainer Toolkit, you are purchasing a licence to use and adapt the resources within your own training business. Copyright and ownership of the original templates and resources remain with The Beauty Study Co.
Your purchase allows you to:

Create your own copies of the templates.

Add your own business name, branding and contact details.

Adapt the resources to suit the beauty training courses you personally deliver.

Create and reuse different versions of the resources across your own training courses.
Your purchase does not allow you to:

Share the original or editable templates with another trainer or business for their own use.

Resell, redistribute or give away the templates.

Include the editable templates within a course, toolkit, membership, template pack or other product that you sell or provide to other trainers.

Claim the original Beauty Trainer Toolkit templates or their design as your own work.
You may use the templates as part of the normal delivery and administration of your own training courses. You may also provide completed documents to your learners where appropriate, for example a completed action plan, assessment record or certificate.
The templates are provided through Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Forms. A Google account is required to create, edit and save your own copies.
The Beauty Trainer Toolkit provides practical templates and resources which can be adapted to support your training business. It is your responsibility to ensure that the documents you use meet the requirements of your individual courses and any relevant accreditation provider, awarding organisation, insurer or other professional requirements.
Learner Responsibility
It is the learner's responsibility to ensure they meet any prerequisite qualifications, experience or entry requirements stated within the course description before booking.
Learners are also responsible for ensuring they have sufficient time to complete any required online theory, practical assessments, case studies or coursework within the timescales provided.
The Beauty Study Co cannot accept responsibility for bookings made where the stated prerequisites have not been met. Any entitlement to cancellation or refund will be subject to these Terms & Conditions and the learner's statutory rights.
Learners are responsible for ensuring that the contact information they provide when booking is accurate so that course information and access instructions can be provided correctly.
Certificates
Certificates will only be issued once:

The full course fee has been paid.

All required course content has been completed.

All required assessments have been successfully completed.

Any required case studies or other evidence have been successfully completed.
Where a payment remains outstanding, certificates will not be issued until the full course fee has been received.
Liability
The Beauty Study Co accepts no responsibility for loss or damage arising from the use of information or techniques taught within our courses, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Learners are responsible for ensuring they hold appropriate insurance and meet any legal or professional requirements before offering treatments to clients.
Completion of a course does not remove the learner's responsibility to work within their own level of competence, follow appropriate health and safety procedures and comply with any applicable professional, insurance or legal requirements.
